[Mesa-users] problem with pgstar plots for very large (>7 digit) model numbers in MESA RSP

Dear MESA users,


I am running mesa r12215 on a Mac Pro OS 10.143 with 6 cores.


I using the new RSP capabilities for Cepheid models. If I turn on the pgstar plots, they work fine on a restart to look at the plots for the last few models if the model number has less than 6 digits.  However, I am running for a long time and my model numbers easily get to 7 digits, which then causes problems with the plots.

If I restart with a 999999 or less model number and just continue into a 7 digit model number, the plots seem to do ok.

I did try deleting or renaming any pgstar.dat in the logs before restart to avoid confusion.

I've tried changing various settings in the rsp_common, inlist_pulse_pgstar_default (found in tutorial for rsp_Cepheid), etc. but failed to solve the problem.

I'm attaching a couple of screen shots, and also a tar of a sample directory with two photos models for restarting so that the problem can be reproduced.

Do you have any suggestions?
