[Mesa-users] mesa-sdk - "protected" download + recipe of mesa-sdk

Hi @mesa-users,

I am sysOp at HPC system by small research facility and some of our 
scientists use Mesa SDK.

We're using EasyBuild (EB) (https://easybuilders.github.io/easybuild/) 
to automate and manage installations of the scientific software, and 
recently I implemented easyconfig (="plugin") to deal with MesaSDK too.

I'd be glad to open-source it, as perhaps different sites using EB could 
benefit from it too, but currently we have to maintain own mirror, 
because the direct download (using some mainstream Python libraries) is 
failing. The reason is described at mesaSDK FAQ - there is  the 
'--user-agent=""' cheat. But as manipulating user-agent isn't currently 
supported in EB (not sure with different automation tools ) - isn't 
there any chance that this "protection" will be removed soon? No plan's 
for official mirror on E.G. github ?

And isn't there any recipe, how the tarball was made?
