[Mesa-users] STELLA and mesa.hyd

Hi all,

I have a question about running STELLA on MESA version 10398. I successfully ran the /stella/test using the given stella/test/mesa.abn and stella/test/mesa.hyd files.

I then ran the ‘example_make_pre_ccsn’, exported the .mod file to my ‘example_ccsn_IIp’, and ran this through to completion. My model successfully(?) stopped running after completing ‘inlist_shock_part5’, and output its contents to the LOGS_for_ccsn_run. (Should the model have run through ‘inlist_shock_part6'?) It also successfully created ‘mesa.hyd’ and ‘mesa.abn’ files.

When I import these .abn and .hyd files into /stella/modmake, however, and try to compile and run, I get the following error before generating the opacity tables:

When I tried to hunt for the difference between my .hyd file and the test .hyd file, it looks like the first line in mine is missing an entry/has a different number of zones specified. Is there something I need to change in order to import this .hyd file into STELLA, and would that resolve this error?

I've attached my .abn and .hyd files, as well as my inlist_shock_part5 (though that should just be the default for the test_suite).
