[Mesa-users] New MESA SDK release

Hi folks --

I'm pleased to announce the release of a new MESA Software Development Kit (SDK). This release, dated 20190315, upgrades the gcc/gfortran compilers to version 8.3.0, and brings updates to a number of other packages. Installing the new SDK is generally recommended, as the upgraded compilers include a number of important bug fixes.

There are versions for Linux, and for OS X 10.12 (Sierra) through 10.14 (Mojave). I haven't made a version for older OS X systems, but if there is demand I might do so. For people installing on OS X 10.14 (Mojave), be sure to read the IMPORTANT NOTE in the Prerequisites section. If you don't, and end up posting an error report to the MESA Users mailing list, you will owe me a beer.
