hi amber,

usually this topic is emphasized during the labs in a mesa summer school,
and one year we had an evening session on the subject. i cannot recall
a write-up or stored presentation outside of a mesa instrument paper
or other science paper (e.g., https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/?#abs/2016ApJS..227...22F),
so i'm not too surprised you didn't find one. i'll take a shot at crafting
a verification-with-mesa message, or at least how i do it.
