[Mesa-users] Problem with CCSN-IIP test suite

Dear MESA developers,

While running the test suite "example_ccsn_IIP' with MESA version r-10398
(MESASDK - 20180127), we are encountering a problem at the 'end_infall'
stage (This problem is OS independent). We ran the default version of this
test suite example as provided with the download and all of the steps ran
as intended in the inlists provided, with the correct termination codes.
The attached graph of entropy vs mass coordinate inside the star (recall
that the neutron star has been already excised in the 'infall' stage) shows
a very large peak in entropy at the innermost mass cell, which keeps increas
ing in the subsequent stages all the way through shock_part5. We believe
that this is a numerical artefact or a coding issue. We noticed that even
with r-11701 (latest MESASDK - 20190503) "example_ccsn_IIp" test suite this
problem persists. Is the problem encountered during the development stage?
And is there a work around?

We looked in the mailing list archives but we did not find any relevant
query.
