[Mesa-users] pgstar and giza

Dear MESA users,

I have a problem with pgstar: the window opens but all the panels are out of place, with some going off the edge of the window. The dot that represents the evolving star is displayed as a capital A and several lables are messed up.

During execution I get this warning, repeated some randodm number of times at random spots:

%giza - Warning - giza_parse_string: invalid Hershey code '0248'
%giza - Warning - giza_parse_string: invalid Hershey code '0248'
%giza - Warning - giza_parse_string: invalid Hershey code '0248'
%giza - Warning - giza_parse_string: invalid Hershey code ‘0248'

Googling the error does not return anything except for the giza sourcecode with the error string.

I run on a Mac (new end 2018) running 10.14.5 Mojave

I am running mesa-11701 (just updated) but the issue was also there with version 10398

SDK release is this mesasdk-x86_64-osx-10.14-20181104.dmg (the release accompanying 10398 for Mojave).

I updated giza.

There is no mention of this problem in the listserv.
