[Mesa-users] Fwd: Compile problems with mesa (due to gyre its seems)

Hi folks --

Posting this on behalf of Anne Thoul (in the hope that we can get a quick resolution). From build.log, it looks like the build system is attempting to interpret liblapack.a (shipped with the SDK) as a preprocessor file when compiling GYRE. This is a head scratcher -- anyone seen something like this before?

Anne, as an initial suggestion, can you try removing all the @ symbols from the file $MESA_DIR/gyre/gyre/src/build/Make.inc. Then,

cd $MESA_DIR/gyre/make
make clean
make

See what happens!

Hi Rich,

I have to leave for a meeting now, but I have tried to install several different versions of mesa this afternoon, and its fails when It is in the gyre module. I attach the build.log file. In this case this was version 11362

I have never encountered the problem before. Do I have to change something in my computer? Thanks for your help.
