Hi Claudio,

I think I understand now. You’re right that the accretion controls are for adding material at the surface of the star. If you want to specify another location to add metals, the easiest way I can think of is to use run_star_extras in almost the same way that you already tried. Just look into manipulating s%xa rather than s%Z so that you can actually change the composition of the star. This will give you control over the mass fraction of each element in the net for your model.
