[Mesa-users] MESA model calibration

Dear all,

In several papers I've read that it could be possible to calibrate MESA 
models in order to match certain values of interest for particular 
cases, for example for comparing with the result produced by another 
simulators or for matching some observed values. There is also a test 
MESA project (simplex_solar_calibration) that, if I properly understood, 
it takes an input file in which certain MESA parameters are initialized 
to values obtained from the Sun and figures out (if I'm not wrong) the 
most appropriate values for other MESA parameters to be used in an 
inlist file, so that the a simulation with the calculated parameters 
should mirror the values used in the calibration process.

My first question to you if, indeed, this is possible to be done in MESA 
and in that case where I could find more information about how to 
perform the calibration process, for example which the set of input 
parameters to be used, which the output one and any relevant 
documentation about that.
