[Mesa-users] timestep in he giant

Hi everyone:

I am trying to construct helium star, so I use the model 1M_pre_ms_to_wd and change initial_Y = 0.98. But when the star evolves into ‘helium giant branch’ (meaning helium shell burning and inflating phase), the timesteps keep reducing (for now, it is about 0 or negative). Do anyone know how to handle it and increase the timesteps? (MESA version is 7184)
