Hi everyone,

In a pair of 2014 papers [1][2], Regner Trampedach and collaborators fit
mixing-length theory (MLT) parameters (usually \alpha_\mathrm{MLT} or
similar) and the corresponding atmospheric T(tau) relations to a suite of
3D radiation-coupled hydrodynamic (3D RHD) simulations. I've implemented
these MLT parameters and T(tau) relations for MESA r9575 in the attached
archive and the results will be presented in a just-submitted paper led by
Jakob Mosumgaard. (Jakob has implemented the same thing in GARSTEC.)

The attached tarball (hydro_Ttau.tar.gz) contains the code, data, examples
and a short readme, which I've also attached separately (README.md). If
you have any comments (including on the README file), let me know.

The idea behind the code is that, as long as you're within the logg-Teff
range covered by the grid and believe the 3D RHD simulation results
(bearing in mind they're computed at solar metallicity for a roughly GN93
mixture), then the MLT parameter is no longer free and your stellar model
will be computed with the matching atmospheric structure.

Cheers,
Warrick
