4-year PARADISE Postdoc in asteroseismology, spectroscopy, and astrometry with TESS/Gaia/SDSS-V

PARADISE - "Pushing asteroseismology to the next level with TESS, Gaia and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey" is a new KU Leuven (B) funded project in stellar astrophysics (2019 to 2024, PI Conny Aerts). In synergy with the ongoing ERC Advanced grant MAMSIE (fys.kuleuven.be/ster/research-projects/mamsie/mamsie<http://fys.kuleuven.be/ster/research-projects/mamsie/mamsie>), it aims to calibrate some of the most uncertain aspects of the theory of stellar interiors, with focus on intermediate- and high-mass stars. We expect the postdoctoral researcher to perform a whole suit of observational analyses in terms of stellar variability and asteroseismology.
