Good question. I hope somebody has an answer. In the mean time…

Rich’s website hosting the SDK is still available:
http://www.astro.wisc.edu/~townsend/static.php?ref=mesasdk <http://www.astro.wisc.edu/~townsend/static.php?ref=mesasdk>

And I think svn checkout is still working, so this should get you the latest public release:
svn co -r 10108 svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/mesa/code/trunk mesa
