Hi Matthew,
I ran into issues installing MESA on computecanada clusters as well. After
some back and forth with support staff there's now an extra bullet point in
the install faq.
https://docs.computecanada.ca/wiki/Installing_software_in_your_home_directory
but try
module --force purge
to strip it down to the barebones OS before loading in MESASDK and try
installing again.
