Hi Bruno,

Perhaps confusingly, what MESA calls "GYRE format" is what GYRE calls 
"MESA format".  It's already an ASCII file, described by the 
documentation.  If you're using the same GYRE that's distributed with 
MESA, it'll be in

   $MESA_DIR/gyre/gyre/doc/mesa-format.pdf

If you have a separate GYRE installation, it'll be in

   $GYRE_DIR/doc/mesa-format.pdf

It isn't clear exactly what you want to do but I hope that helps.
