   Rob, many thanks for your swift feedback.

   If I understood well, the length of the line varies according to the number of zones available in each simulation step, right? If so, is it right to assume that the lower end corresponds to conditions at the surface of the star and the upper one to those at the innermost part of the nucleus?

Hi
The line shows the temperature and density of the center of each zone, hence why it has profile in its name, its a profile of the star.

Each option shows the boundary between different regimes, for instance the show_TRho_Profile_kap_regions shows where the different opacity tables sit in the parameter space. Have a look at figure 1&2 of paxton et al 2011

For example, what does the plotted line represent when the simulation is running? I mean, the two axis are temperature and density but at what point(s) of the star are measured? I guess that the different colors represent the type of convection process happening at different regions in the star but which are these regions?

Another point are the different lines/regions which can be displayed, where could I find additional information about their meaning?
