Hi Plume,

This sounds like something to implement using `run_star_extras.f`, which
is an extra source file that MESA uses to allow you to call extra
functions in your structure models.

To learn how to use `run_star_extras.f`, I'd suggest you first read the
information on the main MESA webpage:

http://mesa.sourceforge.net/run_star_extras.html

In addition, you should look at the material under "Education" at the MESA
market place:

http://cococubed.asu.edu/mesa_market/education.html

Josiah Schwab's summer school lectures will be a good resource. Many of
the other class/exercises from the summer school make use of
`run_star_extras.f` too, though I can't say which do or don't without
downloading and extracting them all.

Cheers,
Warrick
