Hi Wanda,

First, let me thank you for this excellent problem report.

In your attached log I see the line

> libgomp: Thread creation failed: Resource temporarily unavailable

I don't have any experience with this particular error, but it seems
OpenMP couldn't make (all) its threads.

What is the value of OMP_NUM_THREADS in your environment?  How does that
compare to the number of cores on the node or in the job you're using to
compile MESA?
