[Mesa-users] Running MESA on Condor systems

Hi Frank,

From the head node we launch an interactive job on a compiling server.
We have to request resources when we launch the job, and we are requesting
request_cpus = 4
request_memory = 16GB
request_disk = 16GB

While in the interactive job, we set the environment variables and install mesasdk and mesa.
It’s here that the mesa installation throws a seg fault.

When I've used condor It's been with multiple machines or nodes that do not require recompiling anything, I simply compile mesa and my corresponding work folder once and then run it.

Yep, it's just with Condor. The segfault shows up when running the test_quietly executable in eos/test during "installation" -- so it certainly works fine on non-Condor systems.
