there is no such file (tmp.txt) in $MESA_DIR/rates/test directory

As pointed out by aaron (and missed by me) the error message comes form rates not the eos. So there should be a tmp.txt file in the $MESA_DIR/rates/test folder

Thanks for the suggestion! The tmp.txt is quite a long file (attached). I found that this file does not contain any error message though.

If you look in the folder $MESA_DIR/eos/test there should be a file called tmp.txt. Please send that, as that should contain an error message about what happened
