[mesa-users] gyre cannot read in a model file created by mesa-r8118

Hi Jing —
Your model is in FGONG format, but you tell GYRE it is in MESA format. To fix, either specify pulse_data_format = ‘GYRE’ in the MESA inlist, or specify file_format = ‘FGONG’ in the GYRE inlist.
FYI, there is another problem with your GYRE inlist — you need to replace the freq_units parameter with freq_min_units and freq_max_units parameters.
