[mesa-users] BinCosmos Postdoctoral fellow position: Comp. Stellar Astrophysics/Massive Interacting Binaries [Deadline Feb 3, 2017]

Dear colleagues and future colleagues, 

My apologies if you receive this more than once. I have been advertising a postdoc position in Amsterdam to join our ERC funded BinCosmos group to work various aspects of the evolution of massive binary stars and their wider astrophysical implications. We will still be accepting applications until the extended deadline of February 3, 2017.  If you know strong candidates that might have missed earlier announcements, would you please encourage them to still apply?

A background in theory or computational stellar astrophysics is a pre. But we will consider people with other expertise that can strengthen our dynamic and quickly growing BinCosmos team. Ddirections include gravitational wave progenitors, stellar feedback, (spectral) population synthesis, supernovae progenitors,  nucleosynthesis and chemical evolution, stellar transients.   

I will also be keeping an eye open for people that are finishing in one or two years from now, there will be more positions opening.
