[mesa-users] Eccentricity pumping mechanism in binaries

?Dear mesa-users,


I wish to use MESA in order to investigate the effect of different eccentricity-pumping mechanisms on the orbit of a binary. Unfortunately, it appears there is no 'other_edot' routine available in the binary module for me to change the 'edot_enhance' parameter.

Is there another way in which I can change the edot-function?


Furthermore, I noticed that in line 150 of the binary_wind file, the definition for b% mdot_wind_theta is commented out. Is there a particular reason for this? It might be important to use this parameter when one is modelling windRLOF.
