[Mesa-users] Installation of MESA on Chrome OS

Looking at the benchmark scores of this processor they're not terrible, but
the read/write times, while not exactly the same thing as the CPU "speed"
are a bit concerning. Also, 4gb of RAM is the bare minimum of what I would
personally try running MESA on. Also, since it isn't meant to behave as a
regular PC regarding file storage, with it's 64gb SSD, you'll have to keep
an eye on how often you write the various output files (logs & pgstar), as
well as how many models you save.

However, as previous replies have mentioned, getting Linux on chrome OS is
not the same process as dual booting a regular windows PC and you'll have
to do some research to see if it's even possible on this model (probably
is).

But if mesa-web doesn't meet your needs and you don't have access to
another machine, it *might* be worth a shot. I would definitely check if
the RAM is upgradable or if it's soldered to the Mobo as a first step.
