[Mesa-users] Regarding mesa-r10108 error while installing

Thank you for the prompt reply. However I am. currently using Linux system with bash shell as default. So I dont have to install X windows or Z compression library right?

The clue is in this line of the error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz

which is addressed in the MESA SDK FAQ:

Quoting:

"Q: I'm getting compilation errors of the form:

    /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11
    /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz

A: Have you properly installed the X windows and Z compression libraries, as specified in the pre-requisites?"
