Is diffusion really commented out like your inlist shows? As far as I know, jac_blk_dble is only called when diffusion is on.

That error is an indication that diffusion is having trouble finding a physical solution. I’ve usually found that it happens when I’m taking timesteps that are too long for diffusion (requiring many substeps), and decreasing the timesteps fixes the problem.
