thanks.

a forum versus, or in addition to, a mailing-list is a topic that 
we've had discussions on before and probably will continue to contemplate.
plusses and minuses to both communications venues.

not quite the same as a forum, but one can search the ~7500 messages on 
https://sourceforge.net/p/mesa/mailman/mesa-users/ in a threaded view. 

the main official mesa site http://mesa.sourceforge.net has been updated
to reference the marketplace, and the marketplace references the main site.
a more prominent link to the mailing-list archives would be good though.
