[mesa-users] Problems compiling MESA (SOLVED)

Dear all,

Finally I could compile successfully MESA. The problem was the lack of two libraries used during the process:
- libc-dev, and
- zlib1g-dev

Hi
You don't need to install/uninstall anything, that command was just telling me where the library is installed on your system.

Try this:

cd $MESA_DIR
export LIBRARY_PATH=/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
source $MESASDK_ROOT/bin/mesasdk_init.sh
./mk

Can you post the output of this command please?

ldconfig -p | grep libpthread

I'm guessing virtualbox has installed some of the glibc libraies somewhere we are not expecting them to be

I had a look to the troubleshooting section and found that there was an error with certain version of Linux that was corrected with the  20120727 release of the SDK. I am using the last version of the SDK.
I include the traceability of my machine for info at the end of the post. Any help will be welcomed.
