[mesa-users] thermal pulse

AGB pulses are lovely.  Good choice of topic.  And there are many people reading mesa-users who will be able to help you.

But I'll start you out by sending you to run the agb case in star/test_suite. 

It runs a model that is already at the AGB and follows it through 2 pulses.

I've modified the inlist to make a movie.   I highly recommend using pgstar to make on screen plots as well as movies.


You should study the movie until you understand what's going on in each plot and how it all ties together.  

Look for burning moving from He shell to H shell and back, and notice how that impacts the convection zones, and the surface and center conditions.

Send emails to mesa-users if you get stuck -- I'll let other folks step in to help you work out all the details.
