i forgot this -- you need to change the makefile also since you'll want to run gyre with this once you get to the instability strip crossings.

when you want to get info from GYRE, you just make some changes in the inlist.  It will start calling gyre and printing out info on the terminal about instabilities.

      x_logical_ctrl(1) = .true. ! to turn on checking instabilities with gyre

      pulse_info_format = 'GYRE'

of course you'll need to have the magic files to control GYRE setup too -- I'll let you and Rich deal with that.  ;)
