[mesa-users] How to make mesa write output at specific ages?

Hi
If you look in
http://mesa.sourceforge.net/controls_defaults.html#controls_for_output then
you'll see controls for history_interval and profile_interval which
determine how often mesa writes out data based on model numbers. So you
could set the output to be every step (history files this is fine for, but
don't do it for your profile files as you'll fill your hard drive up!),
then after the run just find the nearest model number(s) to your target
age(s) and read off the data. You could get fancy and interpolate between
two model numbers.
The other option would be to do it via a run_stars_extra code see
http://mesa.sourceforge.net/run_star_extras.html#toc-1-4 for an example of
how to determine when to output data.
