[mesa-users] Asking about the most recent burning rates

Dear mesa users,

I am trying to finalise my inlist for evolving main sequence stars between F- and O-type spectral classes, until core Helium depletion phase. When I come across the rate options in the star_job, I prefer to set them to the state-of-the-art values. More specifically, I would like to know if you recommend values other than default (empty strings) for the following options:

      set_rates_preference = .false.
      new_rates_preference = 2    ! NACRE vs. Jina

      set_rate_c12ag = ''
      set_rate_n14pg = ''
      set_rate_3a = ''

Has anyone studied, or knows of the literature studies, how changing the rates within legitimate ranges would impact the main sequence and post main sequence (end of core He burning) evolution (in terms of age, luminosity, etc.)?

I would be very grateful if you openly share your thoughts and expertise with me.
