[mesa-users] MESA in education -- where's the website for this?

partially in response to this thread and partially due to
the volume of jobs submitted to mesa-web.asu.edu, we have
1) doubled the core count to four. each job will now run on 2 cores.
2) doubled the allowed run time to 1 hour or until the end of
core oxygen burning, whichever comes first.
3) exposed additional physical model parameters, but more importantly,
we have exposed a few of mesa’s spatial and temporal resolution parameters.
rather than us fixing the spacetime resolution, you get to choose!
this allow sstudents to explore the convergence and meaning of their models.
to answer the question, its now possible to run a 1 msun model from
pre main-sequence to white dwarf in under an hour on mesa-web.asu.edu
for suitable parameter choices.
to reiterate bill’s point: one can always make a model complex enough that
it will not reach the desired evolutionary point on mesa-web’s (free) resources!
