[mesa-users] too many backups

I'm running an old model provided to my by X. Zhang from the paper here:

The model is for MESA 4028, which I have installed, and I"m using the SDK
from 6/2012 (Frank provided a whole bunch of old SDK's to me a while back).
I'm running into convergence errors.

 stopping because of convergence problems -- too many backups




                    failed in relax mass
 star_relax_mass ierr          -1

 do_star_job_controls_after ierr          -1
__________________________________________________

I added both

relax_max_number_backups=-1
max_number_backups= -1

and still getting this error. Any help is appreciated.
