Notice that in the terminal output you are showing, there are 10 timesteps
passing between the two terminal prints. Therefore it is not guaranteed
that the limit is not being applied. Set:
terminal_cnt = 1
This will have information printed for every timestep to the terminal
window. If the difference in lg_Lnuc is now no longer larger than your
limit between consecutive timesteps, then there is no issue.
