[mesa-users] Questions about PMS evolutionary tracks, and emergent spectrum

Dear Colleagues,

Question 1:  I have been happily calculating pre-main sequence evolutionary
tracks in the mass range 0.4 to 2.4 Msun.  However, when I want calculate
the track for a stellar mass < 0.4 Msun, MESA stalls.  For example, running
a model for 0.2 Msun and MLT parameter = 1.0, when MESA reaches about
1.42 MY iMESA stops because of convergence problems.

What would you suggest to get past this hang-up?

Question 2:  MESA incorporates several model atmospheres.  Is it possible
to access the emergent spectrum at a given time point in the calculation?
One reason for my interest in this is to enable the calculation  of the
absolute magnitudes in various photometric filters.
