[mesa-users] Other_Energy and Mesh Refinement

Hi all,

I just have a basic question about how Newton iterations are performed 
in MESA.

When mesh adjustment is necessary and extra_heat is being added to a 
region with the "other_energy" hook, how is the extra_heat remeshed? I 
am assuming that when cells are split there is either a linear 
interpolation done or the split cells simply inherit the original cell's 
value of extra_heat, as discussed in Section 6.5 of Paxton+ 11. Is one 
of the two options above being performed, or is some other algorithm used?
