[mesa-users] Mesa Not Installing On Yosemite

I am trying to put the 4 lines of code into the bash profile but I keep getting a message for permission denied.

-bash: /Users/noahglasman/.bash_profile: Permission denied

tests-MacBook-Pro:~ noahglasman$


Is this something I have to give permission too or is it something else?

Noah,

those have to be in your shell startup file.
Just put these 4 lines in your ~/.bash_profile :


export MESASDK_ROOT=/Applications/mesasdk

source $MESASDK_ROOT/bin/mesasdk_init.sh

export OMP_NUM_THREADS=2

export MESA_DIR=~/mesa


and do:

source ~/.bash_profile

So from what it looks I believe the sdk is properly installed.

Have you followed the instructions about initializing the SDK?

This error indicates that gfortran is not being found in your PATH,
which should not happen if you have correctly set things up.
