Please keep replies on the mesa-users list so if any else has this problem
they can find the solution.
The nuclear reaction network ('net') tells mesa which isotopes to evolve,
so by setting your job off to use the cno_extras_plus_fe56.net you will
evolve the isotopes in this nets which will be fe56 plus the contents of
the cno_extras.net file (which might load another file..).
So by following this
http://mesa.sourceforge.net/star_job_defaults.html#nuclear_reactions to set
the net. Then in your star_job section
change_net = .true.new_net_name = 'cno_extras_plus_fe56.net'
So now when you run mesa you should be able to add
Abundance_which_isos_to_show(1) = 'fe56'
to your abundance plot to show fe56
All of mesa options are in $MESA_DIR/defaults and on the web at
http://mesa.sourceforge.net/ for the star_job, control and pgstar
inlists.
