Yes, that's the end point of the evolution for the case that uses the
dynamical tide as in Hurley et al. 2002. As it accretes much less material
than in conservative evolution, it evolves toward the giant branch instead
of staying blue and evolution is terminated at RLOF of the secondary (it
would likely become dynamically unstable too, owing to the extreme q). The
model that uses the more efficient tide becomes a blue supergiant so you
don't have the accretor overfilling its Roche lobe.
