[mesa-users] How to speed the run up at the expense of precision?

Without any specifics its hard to help you. I'd reccomend you to check
first the reason that the timestep is reduced, you can see this in
the dt_limit column in the terminal output. Then check the "timestep
controls" sections of both $MESA_DIR/star/defaults/controls.defaults and
$MESA_DIR/binary/defaults/binary_controls.defaults. Be aware that some
situations cannot be resolved, i.e. if you try to run a dynamically
unstable case you will run into convergence problems that will bring the
timestep down.
