Hi Manos & Tug,
Please note that the post core collapse runs in section 6.2 all start with a saved onset-of-core-collapse model saved when infall speed reaches 1000 km/sec. Then there are a series of preparation inlists that remove the core and deposit energy to launch the explosive shock. See the inlists for section 6.2 figures.
>>>>> GAK!!!! I just discovered that the inlists for section 6.2 are not yet posted!!!! Sorry for that oversight.
Until that is fixed (soon!), here are some temporary replacements for you to play with if you are interested in getting started now (understanding that these may not be exactly the best way to do things).
I have a test directory ccsn_15M in a working directory just below mesa/star. It has these inlists and a saved starting model that uses the full 204 iso net.
run the following inlists in order by making the appropriate edits to the main inlist
inlist_adjust -- loads the 204 iso starting model and changes it to use approx21_cr60_plus_co56.net.
inlist_remove_core -- remove iron core at 1.5Msun
inlist_prepare_and_edep -- inject energy to start shock
enough to give total energy of 1.25e51, injected in 0.05 seconds uniformly in 0.02 Msun at base
inlist_explosion -- load the model after energy injection and let it run
Let me know if you decide to try this.
Cheers,
Bill
