[mesa-users] Resolution controls - R_function2

Rob,

I am using mesa v 7622. Here are the relevant parameters:

      R_function2_param2 = 0.07998

      R_function2_param1 = 0.11997

      R_function2_weight = 1.0

For some reason when I change the R_function2_weight from 0 to a non-zero
value, there are roughly 200 more grid cells. But no matter what non-zero
value I use for R_function2_weight, there is no change in the resolution.
Furthermore, the increase in grid cells is not in the region specified by
R_function2_param1 and param2 (which correspond to 8 to 12 Rsun for this
star).

I'm attaching a plot showing the mass fraction as a function of radius for
two different runs, varying R_function2_weight between 0 and 1. It shows
that in the region where the resolution should be increasing there is no
significant change in dq, the mass fraction per cell.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
