So after typing ./mk in a binary star folder did you get any error
messages? The final line of output, if the build was successful should be
gfortran -fopenmp -o ../binary run_star_extras.o run_binary_extras.o
run_binary.o binary_run.o -L../../../../lib -lbinary -lstar -lionization
-latm -lcolors -lmlt -lnse -lnet -leos -lkap -lrates -lneu -lchem
-linterp_2d -linterp_1d -lnum -lf2crlibm -lcrlibm -lmtx -lconst -lutils
-lmesaklu `mesasdk_lapack_link` `mesasdk_blas_link` `mesasdk_pgplot_link`
`mesasdk_se_link`
Now the binary module of mesa creates an executable file called 'binary'
not 'star', are you sure are working with a mesa binary folder? Are you
working from a test suite problem, if so which one? In any case if the
build was successful after ./mk typing ./rn should work regardless of if
your are running a binary star or a single star problem but only if the
build was successful.
So what is the output after typing ./mk ?
