[mesa-users] Reccomendations on hardware to run MESA

With my little knowledge of how processors actually work, I dont think
hyper threading could help MESA that much. As far as I know it can optimize
workloads where different threads are performing different kinds of
operations (like integer versus float arithmetic) but most of MESAs heavy
lifting is floating point. As intel claims (if i remember correctly)
speedups up to 30%, id be surprised if it makes much of a difference for us.

Regarding hardware for MESA, I was checking some of the poweredge solutions
solutions offered by dell. They have nice dual socket options with haswell
(v3) processors, but I wonder how far away are the broadwell, or even
skylake, updates. Anyhow, one can stay eternally waiting for whatever comes
next...
