This model, which is the unmodified test_suite example, certainly does
have C, N, O present.  I have attached the screen shot of the abundance
profile at the first timestep.  You can see these plots too by
uncommenting pgstar_flag=.true. in the star_job namelist.

Perhaps you can tell us how you have arrived at the conclusion that the
initial quantities of C, N and O are zero.
