[mesa-users] Turning on rotation near the ZAMS

Hi folks —

I’m trying to turn rotation on near the ZAMS, by adding the following flags to the &star section of my inlist:

      near_zams_relax_omega_div_omega_crit = .true.
      new_omega_div_omega_crit = 0.1

I then ensure the star evolves as a solid body by adding the following to the &controls section:

      set_uniform_am_nu_non_rot = .true.

Unfortunately, I’m not getting the results I expect — during the ZAMS/post-ZAMS evolution, the star remains very slowly rotating, with v_surf_km_s not rising above a km/s or so.

I’m clearly doing something wrong — can anyone tell me what? Input files attached.
