Hi,

MobaXTerm is also a great Windows client I use for MESA all the time. It's free and handles X-Windows (e.g. plots, graphs etc) automatically. It's also very portable and is available as a single executable file, so don't need admin permissions to install.

Willie,

Putty doesn't automatically accept X windows output; you need to enable this in Connection > SSH > X11. You'll also need a Windows client that is capable of displaying that output. I'm sure people will have varying recommendations but I've used Xming<http://sourceforge.net/projects/xming/> with success in doing this sort of thing.

I have only worked with one individual so far, who is using Putty and it works fine, but so far we have not been able to get pgstar output.  She gets an error on the terminal if pgstar = .true.
