[mesa-users] MESA on Yosemite (yes, already)

hi monique,

the messages issued are warnings, not errors.
on my yosemite machines, the mesa executable builds successfully.
does it build to completion on your machine?

as far as we have tested, the yosemite-based executable produces
the expected results.

rich townsend is working on a sdk package that will be yosemite compatible
and alleviate these ugly warning messages.

Then I grabbed the newest SDK (July 15, 2014 release) and MESA release (6794). Calling ./install in the mesa directory worked, but I got a pile of warnings. In fact, nearly every time a gcc/gfortran call is made, I get the following:

However, if you’re impatient like me and want to play around with the marginal changes in Yosemite on another computer, it seems like for the moment, you can run MESA on it without any problems other than some unsightly warnings when compiling.
